This project explores how to convey a personal message through a tactile, visually engaging medium. The brief was to create a gift that communicates sentiment through craft, while remaining suitable for small-batch reproduction.The scope was to develop a visual message for a personalized gift. The illustration was first created by hand and then carved into linoleum for printing.

The linoleum-print technique adds a distinctive, textured aesthetic, intimate enough for a one-of-a-kind gift yet flexible for producing multiple editions. The final composition depicts the city of Paris, intentionally leaving a clean area within the print for writing individualized messages. The process also included a series of color studies to explore mood, contrast, and ink behavior across different palettes.
